New $age is a satirical magazine and the official media outlet of the Arizona Defense League, producing printed and digital materials commenting on political, urban, and social change occurring in The Valley and throughout the state. New Sage is a rebirth of the Sand Press (later renamed to Sage Press), a bi-weekly newspaper founded in 1946 by Charles and Lillian Stough in Cactus, Arizona, serving the Sunnyslope community. The building stands even today at Cave Creek Rd and Peoria! New Sage works to instill cultural memory in Phoenix and Arizona through practical public education and community building.
